John McAllister (b. 1973 Slidell, LA) lives and works in Northampton, MA. He has had recent solo exhibitions at James Fuentes (Los Angeles, CA), Massimo de Carlo (Hong Kong), Almine Rech Gallery (Paris, France), Wentrup Gallery (Berlin, Germany), Shane Campbell Gallery (Chicago, IL), Carl Freedman Gallery (London, England), and others. He is the recipient of the Joan Mitchell Foundation MFA Grant and the Michael Frary Endowed Scholarship in Painting, and has been commissioned by the Cleveland Clinic Arts & Medicine Institute Art Program in Cleveland, OH. He is in the public collections of the Consortium Museum in Dijon, France and the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, CA.
